Welcome to Wilton Bags
Carissa Hoekstra and WTC Communications have started up Welcome to Wilton bags to distribute to new Wilton residents. Each business can include 1-2 items with their logo/information. Please take 50 of each item to WTC and they will take charge of making up and handing out the bags. If you have already done so, thank you!

Holiday Merriment
Small Business Saturday
Saturday, November 30, was Small Business Saturday, and out 105 total entries, the lucky winners of the Chamber Buck drawing were Tammy O. who shopped at the Candy Kitchen, Jenny Y. at Niche Etc., and Liz H. at LorLen Candles & Gifts. Congratulations, and thanks to everyone who participated!
Window Walk 2024
Sunday, December 8, was probably the first Window Walk where you could wear just a sweatshirt for the whole night! Super nice weather, in addition to a fun train, a beautiful Christmas tree lighting with a Christmas tree and wreath extravaganza inside the depot, soup provided by the Boy Scouts, Wilton High School choir students making spirits bright with their caroling, crafts provided by the Wilton Hustlers 4-H Club, and the library’s Story Walk, made it an unforgettable event!
On Saturday night, 124 people and on Sunday afternoon, 115 people laughed their way through watching the Wilton Alumni play, “’Twas the Opening Night before Christmas.” The audiences contributed a combined $1,588, which goes to the Wilton-Durant Ministerial Association to help local families in need.
Santa was as popular as ever, with Mrs. Claus handing out 240 packs of fruit snacks to the good boys and girls who came to sit on his lap!
Many thanks to everyone who made Window Walk 2024 a wonderful event! Thank you so much as always to our WCDA members and sponsors. Thanks to the Jolly Old Elf and his Spouse, Tom and Laurie Maurer; to our volunteers Kelsie Thomas and Cooper Wehage from Wilton High School’s Difference Maker Crew; and to Brendan DeVore, Jamie Hull, and Colby Brown for helping light the barrel fires.
