Citywide Garage Sale & Elder Park Market
Find the bargain of the century at the Spring Citywide Garage Sale and Elder Park Market, Saturday May 4! Maps are available at local businesses starting May 2, or see the online map at www.wiltoniowa.org/gsmap.
New in 2024, the Elder Park Market offered an option for anyone who wished to sell their items from a central downtown location. People pour into Wilton on Citywide Garage Sale Day, and our local businesses see lots of customers.
Memorial Day Freedom Rock Smorgasbord
Remember our veterans and support our Muscatine County Freedom Rock with the Wilton Memorial Day tradition of Smorgasbord! Buy $5 raffle tickets for your chance to win amazing prizes. See you downtown on Monday, May 27, 3-5 pm (meal served at 4 pm). The American Legion will hold their Memorial Day parade, services, and meal as usual in the morning and at lunchtime.

Wilfundy Golf Outing
Mark your calendars for Friday, June 14, 2024. It’s Wilton Chamber & Development’s Wilfundy Golf Outing at Wahkonsa Country Club! Sign-in will begin at 8 am with a tee-off time of 9 am. Thanks to last year’s terrific committee which is planning this fun event again for 2024. Please let us know if you want to volunteer!

Your full or half hole sponsorship was included when you renewed your membership for 2024. If you chose not to add a sponsorship at that time but would like to be a full or half hole sponsor, please add $100 or $50 on the registration sheet and write in “full hole” or “half hole.” We appreciate your support!
Founders Day 2024
Get excited for a Backyard Bash August 16-18! There will be backyard games and sidewalk chalk festivities to celebrate the Backyard Bash theme.
Many thanks to Hy-Line North America for sponsoring the stage and music, which includes the popular Gray Wolf Band back again this year and the amazing Quad Cities band Fair Warning.
The parade will be at 11:30 am on Saturday, there will be inflatables for the kids, Big Wheel races and the Kiddie Tractor pull, 3-on-3 basketball, BINGO in the air conditioning, and much more! Plan to attend and invite your friends and family.

United Way Wilton Day of Caring
United Way of Muscatine designated May 10, 2024, as the United Way Wilton Day of Caring. Volunteers will work 8-12 and then enjoy a noon meal at the Community Center.
WHS Alumni Banquet
The Wilton High School Alumni Association held their annual banquet April 6 with hundreds in attendance and several seniors being awarded scholarships.
Spring Break Beaver Hunt
The Wilton PTO held a Beaver Hunt over Spring Break, which was a great chance for students to explore our community businesses as they searched for Beavers hiding around town! Go to the Wilton PTO Facebook page to see lots of cute pictures of kids’ smiling faces behind the Beaver cutout in front of City Hall.
ISU Extension and Outreach Community and Economic Development
